{"id":2214,"date":"2025-08-28T21:42:32","date_gmt":"2025-08-28T14:42:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tms-thailand.com\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&#038;p=2214"},"modified":"2025-09-02T22:53:36","modified_gmt":"2025-09-02T15:53:36","slug":"hsseq-superintendent","status":"publish","type":"awsm_job_openings","link":"https:\/\/www.tms-thailand.com\/en\/jobs\/hsseq-superintendent\/","title":{"rendered":"HSSEQ Superintendent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span data-text-color=\"primary\"><b>Organizational Quality Assessment<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Communicate the company\u2019s annual objectives to relevant departments to support planning and performance improvement in line with organizational standards.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Support monitoring and governance of departmental performance to ensure compliance with annual strategic performance targets.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-text-color=\"primary\"><b>HSSEQ Management<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Establish HSSEQ policies covering quality, security, safety, occupational health, and the environment, ensuring safe navigation, healthy working conditions, and environmental standards.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Organize HSSEQ training sessions for crew members before and after deployment to ensure compliance with regulations and instill a strong safety mindset.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Collect, review, and verify supporting documents and records from the fleet.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Analyze onboard injury data, track safety performance statistics (including Loss Time Injury rates), and implement corrective actions to achieve KPI targets.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Conduct quarterly pre-inspections on vessels, monitor inspections by clients or OVID inspectors, follow up on corrective actions, and record findings in the non-conformance reporting system.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-text-color=\"primary\"><b>Safety Management under ISM<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Support ongoing safety training for crew members in accordance with the ISM Code and Safety Management System (SMS) to promote a sustainable safety culture onboard.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prepare and implement emergency response procedures, report accidents and non-conformities, and follow up on safety reporting (Near Miss and Potential Incident Reports) including preventive measures.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Investigate and analyze the root causes of accidents (Unsafe Conditions, Unsafe Acts) to identify preventive actions and improve systems.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Act as a core member of the company\u2019s Emergency Response &amp; Business Continuity Plans (ERP &amp; BCP) team, and participate in annual DPA-led drills.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-text-color=\"primary\"><b>Risk Management<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Review and assess risks in various work processes onboard and in the office.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Deliver risk management training to crew, including practical examples of potential risks in vessel operations.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Support the preparation of Management of Change (MOC) documentation for masters, chief officers, and chief engineers regarding operational changes onboard.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-text-color=\"primary\"><b>Quality and Environmental Management Systems<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ensure compliance with company policies, quality management system standards, environmental management standards, applicable laws, and customer requirements, driving continuous improvement.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-text-color=\"primary\"><b>Qualifications<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bachelor\u2019s degree in Science in Occupational Health and Safety, or related fields.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Minimum 5 years of experience in HSSEQ within Marine, Offshore Oil &amp;
